For the Big Day, we want to bring our friends and family to Chicago and share what we love most about the city.
To help us set the stage, we choose to have the ceremony and reception at a historically significant building for Chicago named The Rookery. The Rookery is located in “The Loop” district of downtown Chicago. This building was once the tallest building in the world and was the offices of famous architectural partners Daniel Burnham and John Root and was completed in 1888. The interior lobby was renovated by another famous architect, Frank Lloyd Wright in 1907 and was designated as a National Historic Landmark in 1975.

The grandeur of The Rookery will help create the feel of old world Chicago, with wrought iron banisters and gold leaf inlay in the marble walls and floor. We will say our vows underneath the “light court” during sunset.
After we have said our vows everyone will be escorted to the second level of the building for an hour of cocktails and hor'dourves. Please enjoy yourselves as the families finish the group photo sessions. We will join you at the Reception again!
After the Cocktail Hour everyone will then be asked to return to the “light court” for the reception and dinner where an elegant buffet will be served. And finally we hope to get everyone moving, yes including you, on the dance floor!
